Displacement Chemicals and Spacers

TETRA has the widest range of displacement chemicals available to meet any downhole cleanup and displacement project.

These highly engineered chemicals can be purchased as concentrated chemicals or as formulated spacers designed to complement the selected completion fluid. TETRA offers individual cleanup chemicals, as well as the TDSP™ spacer system and the TETRAClean™ spacer system.

Spacer Systems

Both of TETRA's chemical spacer systems are designed to disperse solids and water wet all metal surfaces. Components of both TDSP and TETRAClean can be designed for indirect or direct displacement, and both systems can be formulated to displace water based muds, oil based muds and synthetic muds in either an underbalanced or balanced mode.
