Non-Emulsifiers

Water-based fluids can form emulsions with the residual oil in the formation during or after fracturing or during other stimulation treatments.

The main function of a non-emulsification agent is to break such an emulsion in-situ before the stimulated well is put into production. Our non-emulsifiers work vigorously to prevent negative emulsions from occurring downhole and clogging the wellbore. By preventing these negative reactions, oil and gas producers are left with maximum wellbore productivity and enhanced wellbore production after cleanup.

PayZone® NE 200 Non-Emulsifier

An emulsion preventer that works with calcium-based fluids to inhibit emulsion development caused by a mixture of completion fluid and hydrocarbons, which would impede the formation’s ability to transmit fluids, causing formation damage.

PayZone® NE 300 Non-Emulsifier

An emulsion preventer that works with zinc-based fluids to inhibit emulsion development caused by a mixture of completion fluid and hydrocarbons, which would impede the formation’s ability to transmit fluids, causing formation damage.

PayZone® NE 400 Non-Emulsifier

A high performance non-emulsifier product designed for use in calcium-based brines. It inhibits the development of emulsifiers caused by mixing of completion fluid and hydrocarbons, which impede the formation’s ability to transmit hydrocarbons and can cause formation damage. PayZone NE 400 non-emulsifier is soluble in and compatible with calcium-based completion brines and provides fast, clean oil/brine emulsion break, as well as emulsion prevention with pre-treatment. It reduces brine surface tension in order to maximize completion fluid recovery.
